Hello All,
There still seems to be some confusion on how this Kickstarter will be changing, so I am addressing those now.
I. Tasty Peach has never not delivered on a Kickstarter. We have been unfortunately delayed with Ember for some time now on the DinoS'more Kickstarter, but that issue seems to finally be close to a resolution after we have been working hard on it for over a year now. We are happy to announce that we have officially placed our order for Ember (as we await the final prototype with minor changed) so the factory can begin ordering fabrics. We anticipate an official delivery date of August-October area of this year to coincide with the delivery of the Sushi Meowchi.
II. In regards to the previous point, we will be hosting no additional plush Kickstarters until we have fulfilled Ember. We understand the hesitation pledging when you have been waiting a year + on Ember, so we will be holding off to show you all that we are goods on our word, and are following through with the completion of the Kickstarter. No Kickstarters will move forward without prototypes from now on, and all stretch goals will be smaller items that we do not need physical mock ups for (Key Chains, Charms, Necklaces, Lanyards, etc).
III. There are only four scenarios involving the Key Chains, they have been outlined below:
a) If you are on a tier which does not include Key Chains, nothing changes for you. You will receive your Sushi Meowchi Plush. They have been ordered, and we will be paying for them when the Kickstarter ends. Everything is the same.
b) If you are in a tier which includes Plush Key Chains and the Plush Key Chains unlock at $35,000, you will receive your Plush Key Chains.
c) If you are on a tier which includes Plush Key Chains and the Plush Key Chains do NOT unlock, you will receive the PVC Key Chains as a replacement. NO goal is needed for this. If you do not want these you can either change tiers, or cancel your pledge. If you are fine with the PVC Key Chains, no action is needed on your part.
d) PVC key Chains cost as much as the Plush Key Chains, so the value is the same. They are all $8 for Kickstarters. These do not need to be "Unlocked". We are simply spending our own money to get them produced so we have a Key Chain product to send out. Meaning they are available, and will be in the Backerkit add-on store.
IV. Unfortunately, due to the current changes we are going through with factories this issues was unforeseen. Our original plan was to simply invest the difference ourselves in order to get the Key Chains made. Meaning had the Kickstarter hit 32K, we would have simply invested 3K ourselves to make everyone happy. But changes, of which neither party was at fault, caused us to have to reevaluate that cost to us and for the time being it was not feasible.
Please see the original update from two days ago for additional information. This should clear up any remaining questions. The timeline for these has not changed. Plush key Chains or not, these will be arriving sometime between August - October.
We thank you for your patience and will be adjusting how we do Kickstarters going forward. For the sake of simplicity and the buying experience we have tried to limit the amount of tiers we offer so we don't have 20-30 tiers confusing our supporters. However, moving forward no tiers will be created which include the Locked items until those items are unlocked.
